  • The design of the hotel is fashionable, but the reception attitude of the front desk for us is general. Maybe Shanghai people look at people with nostrils!Fashion Room

  • Very satisfied. It's the door. I arrived at night. I went around and found the door. Ha ha. I was very satisfied when I entered the room. The big bed, big sofa, desk, small kitchen and many other details were well designed and humanized. The hotel location was also very good. I came to apply for face-to-face signing in the United States. I walked for up to two minutes and stayed here in Shanghai later.Feature Work Room

  • It is worthy of being a boutique hotel. From design to service, every aspect is too good to be better. This is a business trip. I will choose this hotel for the next family trip. It's really great!Feature Work Room

  • There's a kitchen, knives! It's just a waste to me! Overall, it's good, but the cost performance is not high! The door of the hotel is too small. I've looked for it several times. I don't believe the door of the hotel will be so small that I miss it! The lamp design of the hotel is very unreasonable!Feature Work Room

Travelogue

  • Staying at People's Square on a business trip in Shanghai, this cost-effective hotel maximizes efficiency

This time when I came to Shanghai to connect with the business district operation project, I deliberately avoided five-star hotels with high premiums in the core area and chose the JingLai Bushe Hotel Bund Nanjing West Road Shanghai that is a 3-minute walk to Nanjing West Road subway station. I thought budget hotels would fall short in terms of business details, but after staying for 5 days, I realized that they had incorporated everything that business travelers need - efficiency, peace of mind, and convenience - into the prime location of People's Square.
Take Line 2 directly from Hongqiao Station to Nanjing West Road Station, take a turn at Exit 12 and you will arrive at the hotel. The entire journey takes 40 minutes without transferring, and you didn't even step on the flooded road section on rainy days. It only took 3 minutes for the front desk to check in, and they found out that I was going to 3 different business districts for docking meetings the next day. They took the initiative to mark 3 non roundabout commuting shortcuts for me, and even handed me a note indicating the location of the 24-hour printing store. They even added two extra bottles of free bottled water that I didn't mention in advance. The thoughtful details eased the anxiety of multi stop travel.
The business room I booked completely meets the needs of business travelers: the widened office desk facing the window is equipped with flicker free eye protection lights, and the gigabit Ethernet cable and 65W fast charging port are neatly arranged on the side of the desktop, so there is no need to squat under the bed to find sockets. The plan is much smoother than in an office building, facing the old Shanghai street view outside the window. The intelligent upgrade just completed in 2024 does not require any extra effort. The 24-hour constant temperature hot water output is stable and dense, and the customized spine protection mattress is soft and not collapsing. After staying up all night, taking a hot shower and lying flat can quickly relax the tight shoulders and neck. The most surprising thing is the double-layer soundproof windows. After being tightly closed, almost all the hustle and bustle of the commercial district is filtered out. Even if you have to rush to the project PPT until 2am, you can sleep the whole night without being disturbed.
The next day's small docking meeting was scheduled in the shared reception area of the hotel. The day before, I only mentioned the need for temporary screen mirroring. When I arrived, the equipment had already been debugged and free hot and cold drinks, as well as paper and pens, had been arranged in advance. Halfway through, I had to print 30 modified application materials. The front desk directly contacted the neighboring printing shop and within 10 minutes, the neatly bound materials were delivered to me, which did not delay the progress of the meeting. Busy until noon, I had to wait for lunch at the chain restaurant downstairs for 20 minutes, saving nearly half an hour compared to queuing in the surrounding business district.
After three consecutive days of project docking, I squeezed half an hour of leisure time and walked 10 minutes to the wutong Road in the People's Square. I didn't have to take the time to run far. I walked twice in the wind, and most of the accumulated fatigue disappeared. The 24-hour self-service laundry room in the hotel has a drying function, and the shirts brought for business trips can be worn within two hours after washing, so there is no need to worry about changing laundry.
Throughout the entire journey, I hardly wasted any time on commuting or trivial matters. For business travelers who frequently travel to the core areas of Shanghai, a good place to stay is never to build luxurious high priced houses, but to arrange all business details with high cost-effectiveness, so that you can efficiently advance your work and catch your breath in the gaps of continuous rotation. Next time I come to the Nanjing West Road docking project, I will definitely lock in the JingLai Bushe Hotel Bund Nanjing West Road Shanghai directly. After all, it's really hard to find a budget hotel that can balance location, efficiency, and thoughtfulness so well in the core area.Show more

  • Shanghai People's Square has found treasure! This hotel has welded a sense of relaxation into the details

Before coming to Shanghai, I always thought that the accommodation in the core area of People's Square was either outrageously expensive or too cramped to turn around. It wasn't until I accidentally checked into JingLai Bushe Hotel Bund Nanjing West Road Shanghai that I realized there was such a cost-effective accommodation with "comfort" engraved in my bones hidden in the bustling city. After staying for three days, I even couldn't bear to pack my luggage and leave.
Get out of the People's Square Nanjing West Road subway station, take two turns and arrive at the hotel entrance. It didn't even take five minutes to walk there, so you don't have to drag your suitcase and find your way in the scorching sun. The moment I opened the glass door, the noise outside was immediately separated behind me. The warm yellow light was wrapped in a faint fragrance. The girl at the front desk handed me the room card and handed me a hand drawn small map, marking the Fried Dumplings and time-honored Dim sum stores that could be reached within 10 minutes' walk around. She smiled and said, "It's late to return from shopping on Nanjing Road at night, and the convenience store downstairs will open 24 hours a day, so don't be afraid of hunger.".
The small suite I booked was much brighter than expected, without the typical coldness of chain hotels. The light wood furniture was paired with creamy white soft furnishings, and a small pot of fresh green ivy was placed in the corner. Free local tea bags were pre placed in the small tea tray by the window. The most surprising thing was the two meter wide suspended bed, with a soft yet firm mattress that held the waist and neck firmly, without the feeling of being suspended in a strange hotel. The design of the bedside is particularly thoughtful, with adjustable reading lights on both sides and USB fast charging ports located within reach, eliminating the need to squat under the bed to find sockets. After pulling up the double-layer thick blackout curtain, even the streetlights in the alley couldn't penetrate. I slept naturally for two days without being woken up at all.
The experience of the bathroom space exceeded expectations, with a thorough separation of dry and wet areas. The floor was covered with non slip matte tiles, so there was no need to worry about water accumulation and slipping. The constant temperature showerhead has stable and dense water output, and after a day of sightseeing, the sour and swollen feeling dissipated in just ten minutes. The countertop of the washbasin is wide enough to hold all the skincare products I bring, and the free toiletries have a faint orange blossom fragrance. Even the cotton wipes used to wipe my face are twice as thick as those in regular hotels. What surprised me the most was the sound insulation in the room, even though it was a small street in the commercial district downstairs. After closing the window, there was almost no sound of traffic coming in from outside.
I hardly wasted any commuting time during my stay: walk 5 minutes to Nanjing Road Walkway, walk 10 minutes to People's Square, and feel the river breeze on the Bund in 15 minutes. When I come back from shopping at night, the front desk will provide guests with ice mung bean soup for free. There is no sense of check-in deliberately piled up by internet famous hotels. Even the cleaning lady passing by would stop and ask me if I wanted to add two free bottles of mineral water, reminding me which alley nearby has freshly cooked pan fried dishes.
On the day I left Shanghai, I stood at the hotel entrance with my suitcase and looked back. Suddenly, I realized that the most rare thing about traveling to Shanghai is never the thousands of river view rooms, but in the most central area, where there is such a cozy and comfortable small space to accommodate all your tired leisure time. Next time I come to Shanghai, I will definitely book here directly, just by the warm light by the window, and have a peaceful sleep without rushing.Show more
